Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

The story opens up with Travis and Abby both attending Eastern University. She is a freshman, but Travis has a few years of College under his belt. Abby's best friend, America is dating Travis' cousin/roommate, Shepley. Their first meeting takes place at one of Travis' underground fights hosted by the "Circle".

Nothing short of a roller-coaster with Abby's secrets and Travis' past. They are perfect together, yet their story will be filled with many ups and downs:

"Now that it's over, I wish I could have all the bad stuff back... just so I could have the good."

-> Classic but this book is not just about love or a happy ever after but encapsulates everything human about a relationship. Loved it! Walking Disaster is the story of Beautiful Disaster just from Travis' point of view.

The Deal by Elle Kennedy

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice... even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

...and it’s going to be oh so good.

-> This is the off Campus series but both books are standalones. The Mistake is about John and Grace, also a college romance and highly entertaining. Loved both books!

Sempre series by J.M. Darhower

One a victim of human trafficking; the other the son of the man who enslaved her—who fall in love and question everything they ever believed…
The story of Haven Antonelli and Carmine DeMarco.

-> A fantastic Mafia book. The love story made my heart burst!

If you enjoyed these books, I highly recommend By Any Other Name by the same author. The book is about two families at war, so it is a Romeo/Juliette contemporary concept but really well written!
